Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

November is Pancreatic Cancer awareness month and so I’ve decided to release a short story online to raise money to help in the fight against what is a particularly awful form of the disease. The book is called ‘Tuscany Skyline’

NaNoWriMo Update 5 – It’s all over!

All right, so I realise that it’s a bit late to do an update on something that finished five days ago and I apologise for that but things got in the way and I needed to get back to something

NaNoWriMo Update 4 – Live updates available online

This is the fourth update for the novel I’m writing for NaNoWriMo this year. Week three certainly was a challenge just to keep going. Fatigue set in quite early in the week and it’s been a struggle in that sense

Using song lyrics in a book

Before I start, I would like to clarify that this is a piece based purely on my personal experience in this area and in dealing with one particular artist (who shall remain nameless). It all came about fairly quickly. I

It’s been a while but a new e-book is on its way

So, it’s been a little while since I was last on here promoting an e-book. Reality bit me quite hard last month in terms of doing extra hours at the day job, editing stories and setting up a new commercial

Youngblood Books and not enough sleep

Bewilder on Smashwords

Who would have thought that setting up websites and releasing books would be so tiring. It’s nice to be kicking back and taking it easy for a few hours. The last few weeks have been pretty heavy going with trying to get the Youngblood Books website finished along with work, writing and trying to finish off a proofreading course. Thankfully i think it’s just about done now and it all looks okay. (I’d be lying if i said i was completely happy with the website but it’ll do for now.)

I am pretty pleased with how our first E-book ‘Bewilder’ has come out though and it is available on Amazon and Smashwords now. It should also only be a matter of days before it’s also available through Apple and Barnes and Noble. It’s an exciting time for me and there should be more to come. The plan is for another Youngblood Book in the next few weeks but i think it might be time to catch up with some sleep for now.
